You can't beat the money value on this set and would be excellent for anyone just starting out. The mallet has a good weight to it which I was very pleased with. The cutting knife cuts leather smoothly and easily. I haven't tried out the diamond punch or stitching tool yet but they seem as good of quality as my previous tools purchased at a leather shop.
