Absolutely love this thing! I bought on Amazon a few months ago. Easy to screw on and off. Holds more 3" tablets than anyone would ever need. Everyone that sees it at least smiles. The frog seems pretty sturdy and I think it should last for years. The canister/reservoir is deep so the chlorine is deeper in the water than most dispensers and that's a good thing. You have to punch holes in it, but there are designated spots for this. This is good and bad I guess. The good: you can customize how many openings you want. The bad: it may be difficult for some to punch the holes. I found it to be pretty easy to do, by just pushing a philips screwdriver through it with my hands. I think this method would have been hard for my wife to do. I would recommend 4 holes to start, wait a week and check your chlorine levels then add more holes if needed.I have owned a pool for 12 years now. I think it's about 15,000 gallons. I have a love/hate relationship with my pool. I mostly hate it but everybody else seems to love it. Anything that makes it easier to care for, I want! I've used the standard blue and white dispenser that you see everywhere and the one with the shark on top. The shark looked great but was a nightmare to screw on and off. The blue & white one was super easy to use but very shallow reservoir so it couldn't hold many tablets and the chlorine releases right at the top of the water. The Arizona heat burns up the chlorine so the deeper in the water it gets released the better.Buy the frog and don't look back. Don't save a couple of bucks on something else and be disappointed. Buy the frog and be happy!
