The tool works well on my 2016 Jeep Renegade. Note: Although the brakes are retracted when placed in brake service mode, I still needed a tad bit of room to swing the caliper back onto the new brake pads. You can use needle nose pliers to do the job but this is a lot easier.It fits an extension and/or directly to a ratchet nice and snug, so there's no wobble/slippage like you'd get with cheap extensions and ratchets.
