I was unsure if this would work after our toilet being blocked for a few weeks . No other method to unblock the toilet worked and this was the final chance before resorting to a plumber.I read the instructions carefully and watched a few tutorial videos before my first attempt. A first attempt was all that was required. The toilet was unblocked within a couple of minutes and normal service was resumed.Ensure the wire is pulled fully out at the handle end so only the barrel at the end is visible. Carefully manoeuvre the auger into the bowl until the barrel is no longer visible and continue to follow the instructions provided.There should be no scratching to the porcelain and, providing the blockage is within the length of rhe auger, your toilet should hopefully be unblocked.
