The quality of this wrench is excellent. The country of origin is not marked, but the quality is what I would expect from a Taiwanese tool, which in my experience rivals name-brand USA-made tools. The fit is right on, with the open end being 34.37mm, just enough clearance to reliably get it onto a fastener that can run a bit oversize for a variety of reasons, including manufacturing deviation and corrosion. A too-tight wrench is a pain to use. This one is just right. The finish is satin chrome, which in my opinion is the very best for a wrench. Those vanity polished chrome wrenches look great when wiped down in your toolbox and like heck when you're actually using them. Also they're slippery when greasy, which is, well, all the time. Satin chrome looks handsome in the box and in your hand, and provides better grip when coated in schmoo. The box end is flank drive, like Snap-on, which just works better all around than the sharp cornered opening. Pretty much all the manufacturers have caught onto that these days.As far as the alloy and hardening, it says chrome-vanadium on the flank, so tool steel. These are things that are hard to test, but judging by the sound of a suspend-and-tap ring-test, I'd say it's just about right; consistent with well-forged high-tensile tool steel.Well done Teng. I'll be back for more as I need them.
